SPRING TIDE

In early 2024 six friends set off for a ski-touring roadtrip around northern Iceland in search of spring corn. Instead, we were greeted by the snowiest April in 100 years, gale-force winds and a series of setbacks that nearly derailed the expedition before we’d even managed to strap our boots on. Despite the numerous challenges we managed some unbelieveable sliding and numerous pinch-me moments, proving that your luck is never quite down and out as long as you can adapt to scenarios and maintain a positive outlook. The project was sponsored by Ellis Brigham and is featured in their Winter 24/25 edition of Explore Magazine.
